All the great empires , most notably the Byzantine and Mongols were all defeated after enjoying long periods of success. Mongols were successful because they were interacting with many countries because of their conquests. Conquering others allowed the trade routes in Asia to move north. All these great countries and civilizations were so successful , mostly in part that they all worked together and their ideas spread to one another.
Both the Mongol Empire and the Soviet Union were empires that covered vast territories and brought diverse populations under their rule. However, in terms of secularism and multiculturalism, the Soviet Union can be considered to be more secular and multicultural compared to the Mongol Empire. The Mongol Empire was founded by Genghis Khan in the 13th century and covered a large portion of Asia, including China, Central Asia, and parts of Eastern Europe. The Mongols practiced a form of shamanism, which was the predominant religion in their homeland, but they also adopted elements of other religions, such as Islam and Buddhism, as they conquered new territories.
The Ming and Qing dynasties were two of many dynasties in China. They were also in fact, the last two dynasties. The Ming dynasty ruled from 1368-1644, and the Qing empire ruled from 1644-1912. Both dynasties had long lasting eras of power because of strong framework from influential leaders. The Ming dynasty had Zhu Yuanzhang who was a successful war leader.

The Tang dynasty is considered a high point in Chinese development, achieving a lengthy period of established government and political rule strengthened by its solid military. Whereas the Song dynasty was a dynasty that controlled China and Southern China from the middle of the 10th century into the last quarter of the 13th century. Comparison and Contrast between Mongol and Han In china, there is a minority which is called “A growing nation on horseback”. It is the Mongol ethnic group. Maybe some of people believe that Mongolians disappeared as along with extinction of Mongol Empire, they still exist in China with a small proportion of population nowadays. In China, there is one main ethnic group which is the Han.
The Chinese development of technological advances, allowed the era of the Tang, and the Song dynasty to bring about a social, political, and urban change. The Chinese found new techniques in Agriculture and farming rice. This allowed for more growth and spreading of population in the regions. As the population grew, people were interest in new jobs and careers in the markets. So, they sought out jobs such as shop sellers, blacksmiths, metallurgy, fishing, and government work.
On 1211, the battle of the Mongols and Jin dynasty commenced between Chinese forces led by their 2 leaders Shi Tianze and Liu Heima and Mongol forces led by Genghis Khan over the long run rule of northern grassland and therefore the enlargement of the Mongolian Empire. The background of the Mongols conquest of the Jin dynasty is that the Jin collected Tribute from the steppe tribes and caused rivalries between them. When the Mongols came together under Khabul Khan, the Jin got the Tatars to destroy them. The Mongols were able to guide them out of the there base.

In ancient china there were two widely different philosophes being so excepted within the same culture. The two philosophes were Confucianism and Legalism. Confucianism was during 55 B, in China. Legalism was during 475-221 BC, also in China. Confucianism is a belief or an idea.
The Qin and Han employed different philosophies on how to run their dynasties. The Qin used controlling Legalistic ideas while the Han used the relationship building Confucianism. The Qin and Han had a different relationship with outsiders because the Qin preferred to keep foreigners out while the Han wanted to build a relationship with them. The Qin and the Han each contributed to the growth of China’s culture and expansion. The developments in trade, foreign relations, and building expansive building projects in the Qin and Han Dynasties effected the design of every dynasty
Similarities and Differences between Confucianism and Daoism Doaism and Confucianism are the top two ancient styles of living in China, where they both originated in 550 B.C.E (before common era). I believe that Daoism and Confucianism are both the top religions/styles of living in Ancient China, while they have some similarities they are much more different than they are similar. Both are not only ways of living but, they are a way of life. Confucianism is the belief in setting good examples for other people to follow. They are based off of the five key relationships of the ancient chinese society.
According to the textbook Martin Luther was one of the greatest guys from the renaissance. People believed that if you bought a slip of paper that you would go straight to heaven. Martin Luther didn’t believe that so he read the bible. “Through his study of the bible Luther arrived at an answer to a problem”(textbook pg.173). Martin Luther found out that “Catholic teaching had stressed that both faith and good works were needed to gain personal salvation”(textbook pg.173).
The Mongols The Mongols may have been barbaric in their methods of conquering territory, but they had a very civilized empire. They were extremely organized, and were able to gain access to trade with more empires and territories, in order to improve their economy. The Mongols were able to provide support for their empire, and managed to keep it stable for many years. The Mongol Empire was expansive, and required a very stable government.
Genghis Khan ambles through the streets of peaceful Karakorum, greeting all his steadfast warriors. Among the Mongols are thousands of Chinese, Russians, Polish, Hungarians, and many more flooding the streets. Ordinarily, all of these people are going somewhere: to the glorious temples, the bustling markets, or to the distinguished Genghis Khan walking through his empire. The Mongol Empire, built with Genghis 's own blood, sweat, and unyielding perseverance, was what he dreamed the world could be, what he believed it would be. Genghis Khan led the Mongols not just to victory but assisted in the development of our world today.
Different periods throughout China’s history have different names, known as dynasties, for the diverse positions within its society. Theoretically, all of the periods are similar, with the government and military officials ranking high in the hierarchy, and the average everyday people being under regular Chinese law. Throughout China’s history, the society has been organized into a hierarchic system of socio-economic classes, known as the four occupations. The four occupations system seems to have become distorted after the commercialization of Chinese culture during the Song Dynasty. Even though the social rankings within the country are not as predominant as they once were, the people living within the country still know their “place” within the society.
