The parenting style of each woman in Keepin’ On had some similarities and difference that they felt were important to be a good parent. One similarity seen within the mother was making sure the children receive good education. Many of the kids were placed in day care centers that focused on education rather than a place for someone to watch their children. Another important practices were learning responsibility. The mothers wanted to the kids to understand at a young age what it means to be responsible.
