It tells the tale of famed hunter Sanger Rainsford, who is falls off of a yacht, and swims to an island. There, he meets a Cossack General, General Zaroff, who hunts people for sport, and ultimately ends up hunting Rainsford. “The Scarlet Ibis,” is a short story by James Hurst. It tells the story of an eleven year old boy, and his disabled brother, Doodle. The boy successfully teaches his brother to walk.
