Everybody has a different way of living. Some chose power over others; some chose evil over good; but some chose kindness over everything. The Golden Rule is a very important way of life, and many articles and novels highlight people who follow and strongly believe in The Golden Rule. Harper Lee's novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" highlights Atticus, Robert Hayden's poem "Those Winter Sundays" highlights the unnamed father, and Catherine Pearson’s article "The Unexpected Power of Random Acts of Kindness" highlights many people who pursued random acts of kindness. The article The Unexpected Power of Random Acts of Kindness by Catherine Pearson accurately discusses the golden rule by showing that random acts of kindness have a way greater effect than most people would think.
