Compare And Contrast John Smith And William Bradford’s Account Of New England.
Introduction
John Smith and William Bradford were important men during the New World in the 1600s. Both had the aspiration to inhabit the land in America, hence wrote about their experience since they were Europeans. They used wits to explain their experiences. However, their writings were meant for different audiences. They had established colonies as a way of attracting settlers with their writing works. They were among the first people to go out of England for in the spirit of adventure.
However, both the writers wrote their works from different backgrounds and for a different reason. John smiths Smith’s writing was purposed at convincing the people of England

He includes this act as heroic in his writing as a way of increasing his propaganda. William Bradford also highlights his interactions with the Native Americans. However, William Bradford explains them as kind, and friendly people since the ones who interacted with him were friendly to him. William Bradford unlike john smith refers to the Native Americans to as Indians and even views some as associates.
