As Mercutio and Tybalt fight, Romeo intervenes and in doing so, Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo’s arm. After the death of Mercutio, Romeo is disheartened by his death and avenges his friend by murdering Tybalt.
A bears him like a poorly gentleman, and to say truth, verona brags of him.” (1.5.72-74)Tybalt is to blame for their deaths Because Capulet says it’s not worth tybalt’s time, tybalt still challenges Romeo to a duel. They fight but, tybalt ends up being killed ending in romeo’s banishment to mantua and his depression. They then make up the plan but it fails. Tybalt killed Mercutio because romeo doesn’t want to fight and Romeo kills Tybalt for killing him.
First, in anger after Tybalt put death to Mercutio, Romeo killed Tybalt just moment after mercutio. Romeo and Tybalt were sword fighting and Romeo stabbed Tybalt that put an end to him. The Prince warned them the previous time they fought that they will be sentenced to death if it ever happens again. Second, the conflict within the Montague family and Capulet family rose even greater after this incident.
Tybalt takes offense to Romeo's presence at the Capulet's party and challenges him to a fight, despite attempts by Mercutio to claim the situation. This leads to Mercutio’s death. “Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain! Away to heaven, respective lenity, And fire-eyed fury be my conduct now!” (3.3.118-120).
His hatred towards them was strong, anytime he spotted a Montague he thought he would have to fight one of them. Tybalt sees Romeo at a dance one night, at the Capulet's house. He gets angry and about challenges Romeo to a duel in the middle of the dance, but Lord Capulet claims him down for a bit saying that he is no harm. The next day Romeo is talking to his friend, Mercutio when Romeo says, “Tybalt, old Capulet’s nephew, has sent a letter to Romeo’s father’s house (Act 2 scene page 76)” The letter was a challenge to Romeo from Tybalt for a duel, Romeo tells Mercutio how he doesn’t want to fight.
He, assisted by Mercutio, was the spark that set the Montagues and Capulets completely against each other. During the party, Tybalt’s uncle was aware that a Montague was at his party, but he didn’t mind; only Tybalt was bothered. Later, when Tybalt kills Mercutio, it sets Romeo into a fit of rage, resulting in Tybalt’s death. Romeo takes all the blame for both deaths since Tybalt is slain, causing a chain reaction that forced the Montagues and the Capulets into a seething battle. Tybalt’s own death was the beginning of serious conflict between the two families which subsequently caused more deaths to follow.
Turn thee Benvolio, look upon your death” (Act 1, Scene 1). Evidently, the heinous attitudes of Tybalt conveys the hatred between both Montague and Capulet families as he despises the Montague’s. Furthermore, due to this hatred Tybalt had for Rome, he killed Romeo’s dear friend, Mercutio in Act 3 scene 1 which consequently lead to Romoes outrage of killing Tybalt. If it weren’t for Tybalts pure vexation towards Romeo, he would not be consequential for banishment. Due to his fiery nature, he becomes the catalyst for the insurance of tragic events.
But Tybalt got mad at Romeo for being at his families party. Tybalt wanted to go after Romeo, but his uncle told him not to. Tybalt had lots of anger towards Romeo and ending up fighting him. By accident, Romeo kills Tybalt. Romeo is responsible for Mercurio and Tybalts death.
In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, the characters, Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Romeo, Juliet and Lady Montague all die, and Mercutio is to blame. Act 1, Scene 4 of Romeo and Juliet, is about Mercutio convincing Romeo to go the party being held by the Capulet family. Romeo does not want to go, because he is a Montague and not welcome into the house of Capulet. After some convincing, Romeo agrees and goes to the party, where he is spotted by Tybalt. Tybalt hates the idea of a Montague in his family home, and searches for romeo in the square the next day.
Romeo came shortly after and Tybalt challenged him, “Romeo, the love i bear thee can afford no better term than this; thou art a villian .” Romeo refused to fight, seeing how he just married his cousin juliet and was now family. He tried to keep the peace but Tybalt came looking for a fight and wasn’t leaving without one. Once Mercutio realized Romeo wasn’t going to fight he jumped in. Tybalt had killed Mercutio while Romeo was trying to break it up.
In the play Romeo and Juliet, Father Capulet, Tybalt, and Friar Lawrence are responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. First, there is Tybalt who tried to fight Romeo at the Capulet’s party and also killed Mercutio later in the play. To start, Tybalt tried to fight Romeo at the Capulet’s party because Romeo was not supposed to be there because it was a Capulet family party. ‘“Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe, / A
Tybalt fights Romeo for being a Montague but Romeo does not want to fight so Mercutio fights for him and gets killed declaring “A plague a both houses! I am sped. ”(Romeo and Juliet, III, i, 87). Mercutio dying results in Romeo killing Tybalt and getting banished from Verona, having to leave to Mantua and away from Juliet.
Tybalt searched for Romeo but found Benvolio and Mercutio. Mercutio clashed with Tybalt because Romeo wouldn’t and died, the cause for Mercutio’s death was because Romeo wouldn’t fight Tybalt so Mercutio did. That lead to Romeo getting distraught and fighting Tybalt and killing him. Romeo then got exiled from the town.
Romeo was the cause of several characters death, and his own. Throughout the play, Romeo and the hot-headed Tybalt have been neck and neck, but the tension finally breaks during Act 3, Scene 1 when Mercutio taunts Tybalt, and the two duel. Mercutio falls with the blood on Tybalt, but Romeo loses it. The calm, collected Romeo turns to a “wretched boy”(3.1.135), directly after stating he loved Tybalt, and couldn’t kill his own family. His impulsiveness led him to have Capulet blood stains over his Montague hands, and push him into exile over the Prince’s orders.
Tybalt is Capulet's most fierce fighter and is the cousin of Juliet. Tybalt finds Romeo and tries to start a fight with him. Romeo won’t accept the fight, but Tybalt continues his pursuit of Romeo. Mercutio, who’s Romeo’s best friend, takes the fight for Romeo. Tybalt and Mercutio begin there brawl, but the fight ends with Mercutio’s death.
