The Aztecs and Romans religion was alike in many ways. They had many different beliefs and ways of worshiping their gods. Most of the things were the same about the religion. They also had some differences to. They both had many gods and worshiped in similar ways. Here are some ways they are alike and different. Here are the main gods they worshiped and what they were the god for.The Aztecs had many god that they worshiped but the main god was Huitzilopochtli. He was the main god because he was thought to be the the most powerful god and was god of war. Other main gods they worshiped were Tlaloc god of water, Chicornecoatl god of corn because it was a major food they ate, and Quetzalcouti god of life and nature. Each god had their own temple. On certain days they would worship a god at their temple. They would sing song and give up something important to the god. If the people need something they would pray to the god for that thing. They mostly gave up thing that would help the gods live in the in the afterlife. The priest was in charge because he was said to talk to the gods and tell the people how to worship them. These are the beliefs the Aztec and I will tell you you them. The Aztecs believed all the gods came together to make the earth. They say it took five tries for them to make it. The chief was said to be the person in charge of the religious ceremonies. The chief was the in charge of the ceremony because they think he can talk to their gods. They sacrificed human because they believed the god of the sun need blood to shine every day. They also believed there was many levels of the after life. Like the Aztec the Romans had many gods. They had 6 gods and 6 goddess but they were more people they worshiped. Most of the gods they worshiped came from Greece and other country they took over.
