Comparing Beowulf And Anne Frank As A Hero

After reading Beowulf and after thinking about what a hero is to me, I realized not all heros wear capes. Anne Frank was a hero because although she went through an awful situation she was always strong in the fact that she always believed in the good in people. Beowulf was a hero because he saved the people of many lands from harmful dangers and ensured safety in the Danes and Geatland. Both Anne Frank and Beowulf were heroes for very different reasons but are both still recognized as heroes for the great things they each did. Through these times, the young girl stayed strong through these times, she would write in her diaries about the hardships of the Holocaust but also positive and inspiring quotes were also found in the journals which shows how strong she was to still believe in the good and still be happy through this time. It is one thing to always look for the good but this young girl believed in the good while going through one of the most horrific tragedies in history. For this reason as well, Anne Frank is my hero. Learning about what happened to this girl made me realize that you have to be strong even in the worst situations because you never know how it could impact other people. Many of us go through hard times and for me my failing relationship with my dad affected me a lot. After I had to get a protection order from my dad because he was charged with domestic violence, I had been very upset and I felt like nothing in my life was going right and I started to become very negative and not have a positive impact on others around me. Then I thought deeper and if a young girl who had toa Anne wasn’t necessarily physically strong but her mental strength made her a very famous and an admired hero in history. This proves she was a hero because she was admired as a young girl who was very strong and brave and her strength has changed the
