One of the topics of America is about how much competition exists within our economic system based on private ownership. Some people have indeed made a lot of money, and there are also a lot of people who are still very poor if we were to look at certain statistics. Additionally, this could lead to the exploitation of the labor force as well as other adverse effects like environmental degradation, according to some reviewers. The “The Great Gatsby” written by F. Scott Fitzgerald along with “Black Boy” authored by Richard Wright are books that illustrate these contradictions.
