In Evolution of a criminal and Invictus both were undefeated. They didn't surrender or show their pain, they did not show what they was going through to the world. They were strong people with heavy hearts and go getters, they didn’t let hard times overcome them and they kept faith. For example in the movie “In Evolution of a Criminal” in the prison there were people same age as Darius and had life sentences without parole and still had hope for a shorter sentence. In Evolution of criminal he felt like he had to do what he had to do to make things right, In Invictus he waited with his faith into things got right. In Invictus he was more challenging than Darius. In Evolution of a criminal while he was in jail he got his mind right and changed his image in everybody’s head. He got his GED, graduated college, and made a documentary about what all happen. Darrius influenced other people that had a fifty year life sentence have faith that they will get there life back. Darrius did things to make everything how it supposed to be even if it was wrong and could get him in trouble but he thought he wouldn’t get caught. Under the bludgeoning of chance my head is bloody, but unbowed’ it means no matter how bad the choice you made you never let yourself down about it, you kelp faith and always stayed positive about the choice you made. In the third stanza it states “Beyond this place of wrath and tears, looms but the horror of shade, and yet the menace of the years, finds and shall find me unafraid.” Darius situation is a lot similar because no matter how mad he may been at himself about the choice he made, he still kept faith and done his job because he wanted his future to be a success.
