Besides the happy ending to every romantic film, there is a hero or heroine that must go beyond their power and their knowledge to conquer evil and save the damsel in distress. The journey this hero or heroine has to take, will be nothing they have ever faced before, all in the name of love. spiderman and captain america are both great examples to the phases of romance, both showing their desire to prosper and save the world. Peter Parker's quest begins when he refuses to stop the thief that robbed the fight promoter, peters rash decision leads him faster to his destiny. Also he was accompanied by the beautiful Peggy Carter, who later would fall in love with Steve. She never left his side, putting her life on the line to help Steve take down the Hydra Nazis. As for spider man, his quest began with the lose of his mentor Uncle Ben, Stripping Peter of his innocents and exposing him to the real world where he hasto save his city from the green goblin. During this time, Peter is emotionally struggling. He has to cut off all connections to Aunt May to keep her safe and has to stay away from Mary-Jane too keep her alive and safe. Peter is alone, he is a freak in the eyes of the law but a hero to the citizens of his city. Spiritually,peter parker must change and step out of his comfort zone to become a hero. Uncle Ben and Mary-Jane stood by his side till the end, Unfortunately uncle ben was murdered leaving peter emotionally scarred.
