In 2 Samuel 9-20 David had many fascinating and diabolical traits, he showed forgiveness, kindness, recognition of some of his sin and mourns just like everyone else. He also knew how to command and lead effectively which helped him, however also assisted with his malicious acts. David had to have whatever he wanted no matter what the cost; even though he knew, God was going to punish him for his actions.
Bathsheba was described in the scriptures right away as being very beautiful. In addition was details about her menstrual cycle had just ended which was why she was bathing close to where King David was. She was attractive, fertile, and mysterious. I say mysterious because there is not much information about her throughout the verses in Samuel. Her beauty must have been great because David would not have ordered to have her husband killed if not. Nathan was sent from God and is seen as bringing forth Gods judgment to David for his acts of adultery and murder with Bathsheba and Uriah. Justice seeker, holy and would describe Nathan.

He enjoyed conquering and so much to the point where he thought he would be a better King than David. Both Joab and King David were also sneaky. He showed loyalty at first to King David and then after so long in the scriptures you could decipher that he wanted to no longer take commands from King David however, he want to reign over his own land. Joab was even sympathetic for King David while he was mourning and reestablished his relationship with his other son
