Fahrenheit Book Burner In the book Fahrenheit 451 firemen burn houses instead of putting fires out ,and the author Rad Bradbury includes how technology is “Taking over the Economy”. Firemen are the policemen of the future world ,and some humans have made mistakes by hiding books. The author reveals throughout the novel how montag goes through transformation and how he changes.
What the benefits of using Gruenewald’s memoir is that we get the emotions that she felt during the time and what she thought of the situation she was in. With the memoir we are able to get what a general normal day was for her and everyone in the camp. The downside of using her memoir is that she is trying to remember something that happen decades ago and all the events could be tweaked from her not remembering one hundred percent of what happen. Another downside of using her memoir is she could be bias about what happen for somethings.
Chapter 9: After returning from his leave, Paul sees that his friends are still alive. Relieved that they are still alive, he shares his food with them. His friends felt that Paul was lucky because he was away from the war to visit his family. His friends explain that while he was gone, they heard that they are all going to Russia.

Visualization - Chapter 8 - At the start of this chapter I can imagine the boys assembling on the hot, white, sands of the beach for a meeting. I am reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The book is about a child named Scout who grows up during the 1930’s around the time of the great depression. While she grows up she is taught life lessons and learns to see people in different ways. Some people she learns more about are Tom Robinson, a man who her father is defending in court, and Boo Radley, her neighbor who never comes out of his house. Scout is also confronted with a lot of situations where she is not old enough to understand at her young age, but as the reader hears her reading from an older perspective she realizes these situations were important.

The key differences between a these essays is that, in “Message to the 21st century”, the author reflects on the larger political ideals that most nations fight to achieve, however “My Daughter and God” and “Arrival Gates” address more personal needs in wake of tragedy. These ideals I put under a microscope as these authors try to really understand the feelings behind the values that are being addressed. Theses differences are very important when self reflection is being used. While arrival Gates and My Daughter and God the narrator 's really need to look with in themselves in order to find the meaning and peace in a chaotic world. However, in “Message to the 21st century”, the author is asking the readers to look at humanity as a whole and to look with in our systems and what values we hold on to and can even cause wars.
Comparisons and Contrasts of Fahrenheit 451 and Anthem The novel Fahrenheit 451 is written with aspects of a society similar to that of Anthem in relation to their futuristic governments and dynamic characters. Montag in Fahrenheit 451 is faced with multiple challenges comparable to those of Prometheus in Anthem. Although each character plays a different role, they are both striving to achieve freedoms and happiness. The wellbeing of themselves and others is predominately the main concern for both Montag and Prometheus.
The two stories The Shawl and Years of my Birth are completely different but have a number of things in common. They share abandonment, abuse, and characters who are willing to put others before them. These seem to be a common use in Louise Erdrich stories. They have a powerful meaning and leave the readers astonished in the end.
I think Equiano chose to use the genre of memoir because he was relating a narrative that was so personal no other genre could fill the void. Equiano did not speak for all slaves or convey that his experience was universal. Though Equiano related his experiences though they were happening to only him though, slavery and discourse was happening to all of those around him. After reading the memoir I was distressed and enlightened. What Equiano experienced in his life was distressing and the way he conveyed his experiences to the reader was enlightening.
This shows us that we don’t have proof of the credibility of some of these memoirs. We could read a memoir, and be manipulated by the danger of a single story. Articles, newspapers, and books may be exaggerated and far from the truth. Many people will just read an piece of literature or hear of news and assume it’s true without second guessing it, especially if it is from the media. When referring to
