So many factors were in play that caused tragedy. If the families hadn’t had a rivalry, the kids wouldn’t have to hide their love. If they were open about their romance, Juliet wouldn’t have taken the poison, and then Romeo wouldn’t have taken his poison, Paris wouldn’t have killed himself, and Juliet wouldn’t have stabbed herself. Juliet's parents forced her to marry Paris, which led her to take the risky decision of faking her own death. The parents don't have any support for juliet. If they would just have not let her marry Paris then many things would have been changed. The parents are so stubborn and full of hatred. The differences between the two of them are the methods of the way that they each go about marrying Juliet. The methods that Paris would want to do would be by following regular tradition and ask Lord Capulet for Juliet’s hand in marriage because he prefers to do everything smoothly and does not mind to cause conflict. The way that Romeo would do this would be to just keep it between Juliet and himself and ask for her hand in marriage because he does not want any conflict to be involved. Between Romeo marrying Juliet and Paris marrying her it would probably be better for Romeo to marry her due to the fact that he knows her more and is also closer to her more than Paris is. The way that Paris had asked for Juliet’s hand in marriage was actually the right way because he asked Lord Capulet.
The story of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare revolves around Romeo and his troubling love life. Romeo overcomes many obstacles and broken hearts on his journey to find the love of his life with his best friend Mercutio by his side. A young Juliet walks into Romeo’s life leaving him speechless and amazed, but their parent’s rivalry will end up being the reason why Romeo and Juliet kill themselves, so they won't have to live a life without each other. Although Romeo and Mercutio are best friends, they are both very different in the way they live their life. Although they both are very friendly and caring people, Mercutio and Romeo differ in their feelings about love and how serious they take life.
“For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.”, is a line that was very important to the history of literature. It tells of the inevitable fate of two star-crossed lovers that were bound to death because of each other. There have been many movies and plays preformed with this story line, but two in particular are the Baz Luhrmann film and the original play’s text. Both the Baz Luhrmann film and William Shakespeare’s play of Romeo and Juliet may be compared by focusing on the following scenes: the party scene, balcony scene, fight and death scene of Tybalt and Mercutio, and the suicide scene.
When they decided to get married her parents can’t know about it. Since her parents don 't know about the marriage, they arranged her to marry Paris. Paris seems to be a fantastic guy, but since Juliet is already married she cannot marry him. Juliet is very upset when she heard the news about the arranged marriage you could tell when she said, “O, bid me leap, rather than marry Paris.” Juliet absolutely didn 't want to marry Paris.
When he needed to stay by her the most he gave up instead. Lord Capulet is the father of Juliet and a big part of the continuous feud between his family and the Montague’s. He was blind to the love in his beloved daughters heart for their enemy, Romeo. Instead of realizing the love that Juliet felt for another man he was forcing her to marry Paris, a perfect stranger. “But fettle your fine joint ‘gainst Thursday next to go with Paris to saint Peter’s church, or I will drag thee on a humble thither.”
That makes Juliet concerned because she likes Romeo. First, he tells Juliet to marry Paris which she doesn’t want to happen. This is found in Act 3 scene 5. Second, Lord Capulet rages at Juliet when he notices that she doesn’t want to marry Paris. He then tells Juliet that he will never see her again.
Juliet has to stay true to Romeo and reject Paris because of their lies. Romeo and Juliet happen to be loyal to each other because of their lies, not love. In Act 3, each lie causes more problems. Love couldn’t compete against lies for Romeo and Juliet, however some people argue that love could compete against the lies. Romeo and Juliet should’ve told the truth about their relationship in the first place.
Overlooked and often forgotten, wilderness is surrounding the envionments humans live in. Wilderness does not have to be a untarnished and completely protected. Just as families have a place to call home, wilderness provides a home and a place of refuge for animals and plants and other non human living organizims. They make up the balance needed to sustance the wilderness. How humans and wilderness intact is what will cause florecment or produce neglect.
The Reality of Romeo Romeo a kind, noble sir. Romeo is a character that is more realistic to today's audience. Romeo shows heroism and compassion all through the play. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is supposed to be a tragedy it shows how love was won, but by hurt and sadness that was done. Romeo shows his love for Juliet in many special and heroic ways throughout the story.
Act 2 scene 2 line 70 “ If they see you they’ll murder you”. This shows that because they fight so much they will murder him. This forces them to be secretive and not tell anyone therefore leading to more pressure on Juliet to not marry Paris. “three times now riots have broken out in this city all casual word from you old capulet and Montague” Act 1 scene 1 line 83-86. This shows that they fight with each other so much and this makes it hard for Romeo and Juliet to make their marriage public so they must keep it a secret since the families are mortal foes.
Even the Nurse who previously encouraged the romance between Juliet and Romeo, changes her mind and says she should marry Paris. Juliet's rebellion has serious repercussions which leads her to commit suicde over her
