This book “Lockie Leonard, Human Torpedo” by Tim Winton discusses the issues that teenagers usually go through. The two main themes in the book are love and embarrassment. Looking at both themes the author makes Lockie Leonard represent the actual life of teenagers. The author represents teenagers by placing Lockie as a young adolescent who is experiencing things a normal teen would experience at his age.
It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.” This quotation means that friendship is can be good, and bad. Understanding one another through good, and bad, but allowing the other to get hurt causes greater problems.

This song tells the story of a tragic breakup between two individuals that cannot seem to get along.
This song is about a man who is telling their lover that only love will free them of their cold heart. This begins with the man asking how it felt to be alone. “When you were young and on your own, how did it feel to be alone?” Young started this song with those lyrics because he wanted the song to have a stronger message. Isolation makes a person’s heart go cold and only love can break that ice.

In Popular Mechanics by Raymond Carver, the story is about a husband (or boyfriend) who is leaving for an unknown reason, he demands to take the baby with him, but the wife (or girlfriend) will not let him. Undoubtedly, the parent's rage and lack of communication leads to the death of their son. Raymond Carver presents symbolism throughout the short story to indicate something awful is going to happen.

Truly, Hozier’s single is about him sleeping with women, when people believe otherwise all because it has false symbolism mentioned conservative terms like “worship” and even in the song title itself. It is songs such as this that have contributed to our society’s spiritual corruptions because it enhances a false significance of attending a church. It is the simple messages hidden in big artists’ songs that causes our society to become spiritually corrupt.
Finally, Cole talks about how he’s going to make something out of himself even though he grew up living a struggling lifestyle. “Love Yourz” is one of the songs I can relate to because the lyrics show that no matter how messed up your life is, you should learn to love the life you have. “Love Yourz” made me realize that there will always be someone there to support my decisions and accept the person I am, and who I am to become Even though I cannot relate to having the status of a successful rapper, it is important to reflect on the ideas that J Cole emphasizes on. The hook (“No such thing as a life that’s better than yours”) sums up the whole idea of the song.

It also hit number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Natasha Bedingfield has another popular song “Pocketful of Sunshine” and was really only popular in 2004-2006.
