As her former teacher at Jenks High School, I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Annika Alfaro. I have had the pleasure of viewing Ms. Alfaro’s tremendous personal and academic growth throughout the school year. As instructor of her Advanced Placement English and Composition class, I have witnessed no less than optimum effort in her scholastic studies. Her intelligence, diligence and honesty has exceeded many in her class and I am confident that she will uphold the honorable traditions at your distinguished University. Therefore, it is my privilege to endorse her candidacy for the University of Oklahoma.

Annika was not always the most expressive in class, but when she spoke she contributed insightfully and took discussions to another level. She was also very supportive and comprehensive of others and invariably listened to the contributions of her peers. …show more content…

I push my students to challenge themselves and Annika has always enveloped these challenges with optimism and commitment. She enjoys the challenge of learning and is a true intellectual. I strongly believe that she will do prestigious work and pursue change in which realm she chooses. Ms. Alfaro is an outstanding young leader who has made a difference here at Jenks High School and who is continually committed to multiple clubs such as, student council, DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), DFY (Drug Free Youth), and also attends the local technical school (Tulsa Tech) where she attends the Health Science Technology Class and received her MAT (Medication of Administration) training requirements, CPR and First Aid certifications.
