In Obama’s speech, his belief about war and violence being necessary is definitely introduced to readers. In my opinion, there are times where violence must be used in order to find a solution to problems within our society. From my perspective, Obama is right with the fact that violence is necessary at times. President Obama, at the time, states that he believes that overall nations, whether or not they are weak or strong, must stick to and follow the regulations and/or “guidelines” behind the use of force (pg.8).
