Comparing Romeo And Juliet And West Side Story

As I have watched both of the scenes from Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story the characters with totally different. In West Side Story the scene took place on a fire escape but also the characters were Tony and Maria. In Romeo and Juliet there was a relationship between them two but they belong to two different households. Juliet is a girl who has a nurse also her and Maria play different roles. Juliet thinks Romeo is the only one for her. Maria and Tony’s relationship is something that is special. In the West Side Story Tony and Maria sing about their love for one another.
