In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet are teenagers who fall in love. Romeo and Juliet are teenagers living in Verona, Italy. Their families have an age-old feud and they are forbidden to love each other. They meet at the Capulets’ masquerade ball and fall in love instantly. After just one day they are married secretly and disaster strikes. The Capulets want Juliet to marry Count Paris and Romeo kills Tybalt so he is banished. Friar Lawrence comes up with a plan that later leads to both adolescents deaths.
