Charles Lindbergh and Christopher Columbus had amazing accomplishments. Such as Columbus’ voyage to the new world and Charles Lindbergh’s flight.

Charles Lindbergh’s voyage began May 20th, 1927. At 25 years old, Lindbergh wished to enter a contest in which he would fly solo from New York and Paris for a 25,000 dollar prize, at first he didn't think he would succeed, however, he didn't give up! When he arrived he was almost a hero to the large crowd that awaited him. Christopher Columbus, had another story. Columbus was determined to find a direct water route west from Europe to Asia, sadly, he never ecceded. Instead Columbus found “the new world”. “Christopher Columbus made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: in 1492, 1493, 1498 and 1502. In the 1920s his record-breaking flight across the Atlantic brought him fame and fortune. All kind of stuff and facilities were named after him, from charleston pieces to airports, streets, and lakes. Then during his 1930s the kidnapping and murder of his first son, and the trial that followed, brought him the sympathies of the world again. But his close ties with Germany in the years prior to World War II and his passionate speeches against the incursion of the United States in the war, angered public opinion so much that his former glory turned into smoke.”
