Comparing 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'

We had the opportunity to watch The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movie on Netflix. It was an accurate depiction of the book, but, like any book to movie conversion the two still had their differences. In the book Blomkvist’s issues with Millennium are told in more detail, and is a much bigger issue in the novel. In the movie the issues with the company happen, and are quickly put on the back burner. Blomkvist's relationships also have less depth in the movie, where as in the book it is explained and spoken about at length. Though both the book and the movie explore a mystery, the book is more in depth about it all than the movie. Mikael goes through a lot more in the book and it is explained throughout his research whereas in the movie a lot
