I say this because it provides a lot of information based on the begging on the American Revolution and there isn’t a lot of books that create such a good image in your head. In addition, I strongly believe everybody should read this book to actually know the real events that occurred in history not have false learned or heard false information. One thing I did not like about the novel was how only some characters were mentioned in a brief and never introduced again. Overall, Paul Revere’s Ride is a great novel and I would highly recommend
The Hitchhiker is a radio play that has partnered up with The Twilight Zone and made into a T.V. show. They both stand with a lot of similarities, but they also have a few differences. They had many similarities. Some similarities include where they were going.
The book was comprehensive and planned accordingly enough for it to be educational, which made it just incredibly astonishing. Drew Gilpin Faust organized this book into eight chapters and they fit so well it was like a puzzle piece in their transition from one chapter to another. How it introduced the death at the beginning of the book, but then brings out a sway of a sense of being dramatic. However, this book just was not about death, it also brings out the economic struggle, citizens struggles, struggles of faith, struggle killing, mourning for the lost, and how they would ever recover from an in particular traumatic event. All these things corresponded together had balanced out into a beautiful masterpiece in literature for this history
The had a lot of information and was very informative. I would give this book a three. I will rate it three because of it good, it just was a lot of information that made me lose interest in the book.
The book gives us a variety of words to look at, there were moments where a word I didn't understand would pop up and I would have to stop my reading and look up the definition. These moments were unexpected and would make me kind of jump inside. The book gave me a boring feeling only because I felt he repeats some things he says. On the other hand every time I read the book it would give me new facts over arguing and what I should do in the little boxes he left in the margins. These helpful facts I would use mostly on my quite obnoxious younger brothers.
Bryan Stevenson deserves accolades for his extraordinary dedication, passion and commitment, and certainly this is a good book, but the astronomical average rating would have you believe it is one of the best book ever written.
I thought in some parts it was quite disturbing. I also thought in the book was dark and mysterious. I like adventure and inspiring books better. I like the part when Guy Mantag explained his job and the tools he used to burn buildings and books. I didn't really understand that there was a job to set things on fire, instead of stopping them.
I think this book was well organized in its chapter and sub chapters. For a guy who despises reading, this book was not that tough as read as I expected especially for it being about history and non-fiction. There was nothing for me to be excited about going in, but I got through it without much struggle. The book had some weird names, some Latin words, and some unusual vocabulary. Other than a couple of words, this book was an easy to understand, thus making it an easy read.
Overall rethinking is a well-developed life skill. It takes a lot of work, but it can pay off in the end if you do it right. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams is a complicated novel. However, through extensive research, this novel is all about the act of rethinking.
I believe if he had simplified the wording, been more concise, and added pictures it would have made this book much more enjoyable to read. Overall, I do believe the book is worth reading. The author is informed on the subject matter as we all should
In the film adaptation of the novel, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, some of the original aspects that make the novel so timeless are not included in the movie. However, due to the vastly different medium that film is and the abstractness of the novel, it makes sense why some things would have to change in order for the story to transfer to the screen successfully. While many die-hard fans of the novel denounce the film version of their beloved story, others celebrate the presence of Adams’ wit in the movie especially through the cartoon representations of the guide entries. First of all, the Hitchhiker’s Guide is pictured much differently in the movie than in the novel.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams is a peculiar story about the universe and aliens. It starts out with Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect on Earth however, Earth soon gets destroyed by aliens and they have to catch a ride on a spaceship. Arthur and Ford experience many adventures together such as arriving the the Heart of Gold. Adams brings up many deeper meanings and questions while using comedy in order to describe his characters. He uses many different techniques to make the reader laugh yet question ideas from the book.
