What’s up with the New Deal? So many problems that haven’t been solved yet, even though they wanted to make everything way much better and have it all solved but it's just like their all sitting their wait for a magic wand to pop out and fix the problems for them. The Great Depression and The New Deal lasted from 1929-1948.The Great Depression world wide economic decline of the 1930’s. The Great Depression all started 1929 when the U.S Stock Market Crashes, which meant that many people were losing money because the stocks were lowering down which was the beginning the The Great Depression. The second new deal was just similar to the first new deal. The first new deal equalled relief, recovery, and reform which had to do with the problems that occurred during the great depression. Relief is something that provided america with innovative assistance to help them with simple necessities of life for example food, employment etc. Recovery a program that has a main goal to promote growth in the american economy Reform is a policy or program that was made to ensure the affects of The Great Depression did not happen again.. It was an extension on president’s first new deal which lasted from 1935-1937. The Works Progress Administration made it possible to feed children that were undernourished.One million undernourished children have benefited by the Works Progress Administration’s school lunch program.” The WPA program in only a year and a half the wpa program made 80,000,000 hot meals in a rate of 500,000 daily to 10,000 schools. Now that’s is an accomplishment i should say because these children were never fed an actual hot meal before and just the the wpa program could make it possible that the children could grow into healthy citizens of the future that is an accomplishment! “One million undernourished children have benefited by the Works Progress Administration’s school lunch program.” My baby thesis supports my argument because having a program that can help benefit children that don’t have food would be something that is an accomplishment.
The New Deal was a success because of the “New Deal Indian administration.” The new deal administration was when a social reformer, John Collier had put congress on the same page with him to pass that act. ‘’The Indian Reorganization Act, which provided money for tribes to purchase new land.” Not only did that happen but in the same year the government had also provided federal grants like hospitals, local schools districts etc. to assist the native americans, .
The first new deal was a success because the opportunity of jobs given.
