With today’s media coverage a wide array of outlets are covered, including sports. There are various amounts of sports television channels, websites and magazines all of which cover an abundance of sports. In baseball everything is broken down play by play and into statistical information. Two of the biggest outfielders in today’s game of baseball that draw an interesting comparison are Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins and Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees. Giancarlo Stanton was drafted to play baseball out of high school in 2007 and made his major league debut in 2010. Throughout Giancarlo Stanton’s career he has been considered one of the best outfielders in the MLB, especially has a hitter. 2016 was the first year Aaron Judge competed in Major League Baseball. After high school Aaron Judge attended Fresno State to play baseball and he was drafted in 2013, he played his first major league game in 2016. Giancarlo Stanton has played for the National League all-star team four times in his seven year career, which is good considering he has had injuries in the past. Aside from being selected for the all-star team he won the Hank Aaron award for the 2014 season; this award is given to the best hitter in each league.
