The past is a time that is no longer happening and one can never go back to it. Maybe one can remember the past, but it can never be relived. Trying to relive the past can really mess with one’s head; as one starts reminiscing and if it gets to the extremes, one can become quite obsessive. In the novel The Great Gatsby by F.
