In the song, The Priest and The Matador by Senses Fail, the narrator has a pessimistic view on life. Having no hope or faith he kills himself. He knows he's going to hell but is okay with it. Exasperated by people trying to change who he is, he tells people that there's no hope for him and that they should stop trying to make him a better person. He is going to hell. The narrator commits suicide. Buddy Nielsen states, "I hear a woman Start to yell Oh dear God I Think he fell" (Senses Fail 5-8) He jumps off a building. He did that because he wants to die. An example of him committing suicide is in stanza two, "My body lies kissing the ground." (Senses Fail 12-13) Because he jumped off a building, he fell on the ground. Kissing the ground means
