The point of view of a story is very important to the structure of a writing because it determines how the reader perceives the information that they are reading. We can see the different structures in writing in the play Trifles and in the story “Jury of her Peers”.

Trifles is written in 3rd person objective so that the audience can visualize everything as if it is happening right in front of them. It includes descriptions and actions of the characters, giving the audience a feeling like they are in the story. There is a big difference between Trifles and “Jury of her Peers” because of the points of view. In a drama/play, the audience can infer what is happening and how the characters feel based in the text and information that is given. “[Jumping up] Mrs. Hale. But, Mrs. Peters - Look at it!
