In reading and comparing the two models of Crime Control and the Due Process models there are polarizing comparisons. The Crime Control model is the conservative approach which is based on efficiency. This means that it is advocated for the process to move faster from start to finish. This model also believes that if the police and prosecutor expend the time to arrest and charge a suspect, then the suspect is more than likely guilty. One of the methods of the process is the use of plea bargaining. Plea bargains can be offered and accepted in shorter time and offer a deal for the offense. This can’t be challenged or appealed.
