In this essay I am comparing and contrasting two different stories that were filmed long ago.both plays contain two very different cultural backgrounds which had affected each protagonist from the story differently, whom are both facing problems within their own household’s (family problems ).

The first story is the death of sales man that was written by the author Arther Miller , the main character of this this story is Willy the father. second story is Fences that is written by August Wilson.

Its often perceived as an African American response to Miller's known portrayal of the defeat of the white salesman story.
Willy Loman is the father of the first story, Both plays major theme talks about the decline of the patriarch of a single families and their relationship due to their sons and wives , beside examining the father-son dynamics life. nor representing their characters that attempts to make sense of the elusive Americans dream they both wanted to achieve while they were alive. Indeed, the protagonists' visions of the American dream shaped almost the whole conflict of the story, but Troy Maxson and Willy Loman have different experiences of life on their dreams …show more content…
