Do you like college football or the National Football League better? Playing professional sports and college sports are “two different games”. There are a couple big differences in each game. The NFL has different rules than college football. When playing receivers only need to have one foot in bounds for the pass to count as completed, but in college you need to have two feet in for it to count. “The defensive holding penalty in college football is 10 yards whereas it’s only 5 yards in the NFL.”(Barnett.2016) There are all kinds of different rules in college and in the NFL. For basketball there is college and the NBA. They all have different tournaments. The athletes that play in college have to make the decision for themselves if they want to move up to the next level of their sport and in this case it is basketball. No one can make that decision for them but themselves. College has March Madness and the College Basketball Championship and the NBA has the playoffs and that is where the best two teams come together and have a championship but it is divided up into the most seven games. It is determined the best of seven or the first to win four games. It usually goes into seven games. According to NCAA.com the top twenty five teams in men’s college basketball are Virginia, Villanova, Xavier, Kansas, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Michigan, Gonzaga, Duke, North Carolina, Purdue, Arizona, Tennessee, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Wichita State, Ohio State, Kentucky, Auburn, Clemson, Houston, Miami, Florida, Nevada, and Saint Mary’s.
