Suicide, that world makes people sick to their stomach, so what happens when someone hears assisted suicide? Yes, you heard that right assisted suicide sounds crazy right. It is also called Euthanasia, this is a painless way to die with help of a physician. Euthanasia and or assisted suicide should not be legal anywhere. Throughout the world these are the places as of November 2017 that legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide, Netherlands, Belgium, Colombia, Luxembourg and Canada. Assisted suicide is legal in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and in the US states of Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Vermont, Montana, Washington DC, and California. At this point, let us look at the differnece between the two euthanasia and assisted suicide. For people who are terminally ill or someone that will soon die, there is a very ethical and legal option. Withdrawing life support is known as allowing a natural death. If someone will die very soon there will most likely some type of medical assistance to stay alive. By doing so which many refer to as pulling the plug lets people die, and not have to be put down with a drug like a dog would be. The point is if medically and legally doctors can pull the plug to allow a natural death, why should euthanasia or physician assisted suicide be legal anywhere? This isn’t an ethical practice for humans doctors shall help and heal us not kill us. Euthanasia can lead to the medical care personal suffer personal problems.
