Our world today has advanced to such a great extent with technology becoming so much better over the past years that almost everything we use, from learning to communication, is based on technology. It amazes me how far technology has come from when I was a little kid to what there is in the world today. Internet has gone from taking minutes or more to load websites or other things to now being able to load almost anything in mere seconds. I have also seen technology being used more in the everyday life of the common person compared to when I was a child. One of the first times technology came into my life was when the Ste. Movies contain only video or pictures, dialogue, and sometimes narration, so where movies lack in small detail, the visual images make up for it. Writers have to try and use all the details they can to make the reader able to visualize the setting the writer creates in the book. Movies, however, do not need these descriptive details because the viewer can clearly see what the setting and characters are like. Many people may like to watch movies instead of reading, but they cannot get the full experience unless they pick up a book and dive into the adventure. Books bring the reader closer to the adventure, giving deeper descriptions and vivid imagery, while movies present the picture visually to the viewer, leaving out the small but interesting details from books. The one thing that usually drives people away from books is the reading itself. Reading can take long periods of time, which pushes people away that want a fast and fun learning experience. Movies bring this aspect to that kind of person, which is the majority of people in the world today, and this causes movies to be more preferred over books due to length and visual appeal. It does not matter which option is chosen to get the point across to the reader, though. Both learning types exist because both types of people, book lovers and movie lovers, also exist. Each type of learning still holds the main idea which is to be learned, so the choice comes down to which option one prefers. Though there are many things that set books and movies apart from each other, there are a few important aspects that make them greatly similar. Movies present a great visual appeal to the viewer and bring them a quick, relaxed, and fun way to learn; however, books offer a deeper story
