Aimee was very accepting and positive when dealing with her adversity. This shows that even though she was going through a very tough adversity she stayed positive and it is important because she accepted who she was and that her having prosthetic legs was a part of herself. Bethany was frustrated and felt sad about losing her arm. This is important because it shows that it was going to take a while to learn to accept her not having an arm. It is also important because it shows that takes a lot of people a lot of time to accept their adversity. In conclusion, they were different in the way they acted in the beginning of their adversity.
