Today, we took the farm over from Jones. Snowball and I are assuming ourselves leaders, because, quite frankly, we are the smartest on the farm. So far, the rebellion has been a huge success, and I hope I can aim towards being in full control of the farm. I have visions of an ample amount of money and food for the farm. The other animals are so stupid that they will not see a decrease in rations. They are so easy to convince, and as long as it fits within the rebellion’s goal, they will believe it. However, Snowball has different visions than myself. He wants a farm where all animals are happy, and money is steady instead of plentiful. I think that these ideas are worthless and will only reduce my quality of life. I am in this rebellion …show more content…
The dogs I have trained for months have finally put their learning to use and got rid of Snowball. Naturally, the animals have looked up to me as their next leader. I see a great, rich future ahead for this farm. The windmill that Snowball proposed will be built, but it will be used to mill corn and not reduce work. The animals work fine, and when they are pushed to the limits, they can do the impossible. Therefore, a windmill making money is better than a windmill saving labor. I have increased rations so the animals will forget how much food they had with Jones running the farm. I will slowly start to decrease the amount of food animals receive and slowly start to increase the amount of work. By maximizing labor and minimizing expenses, us pigs will have a wonderful life. Lots of food will be at our disposal, and we will be able to live through this upcoming winter without a doubt. Now, this may seem unfair, but if the animals are too stupid to realize, then it is their own fault. Quite frankly, they look up to me, and in their eyes, I am never wrong. With Snowball gone, I can start to construct the farm that will give upmost respect to their leader, and it will be the most productive farm in all of England. Long live the Animal Farm! ALl the power is in my hands, and I can do anything I want. The animals think I am a god, and the pigs follow my lead. The animals have had their lowest rations ever, and their production has soared through the roof. However, Boxer, the hardest worker of all, has sustained an injury that will prevent him from working. So, I came up with the idea to sell him. He is a mighty fine horse, and the farm needs money. Also, hide makers pay top dollar for horses like Boxer. We sold him for an easy 1,000 pounds, and we used some of that money to buy a crate of whiskey. The animals, who believe everything, think that the “Horse Slaughterer” that took Boxer was actually a veterinarian in his new van thanks to Squealer. At this point, us pigs are far superior to other farm animals. We can read, write, wear clothes, drink alcohol, and walk. Some things were just meant to be, and I believe that pigs were meant to rule. I am the greatest, and every animal should look up to me as a king. Tomorrow, I am inviting all neighboring farmers and ranchers to tour the Animal Farm. They will be quite surprised. I am also renaming the farm to its original name, Manor Farm. Since us pigs are superior to other animals, and more like humans, we are exhibiting the farm’s human name. Like the commandment of Manor Farm states, all animals are equal, but some are more equal than
