Before, I teach you about the three Chinese philosophies, I want to tell you what they are! Confucianism is about, the golden rule! Daoism, wants to get a message across that everything is opposite! Legalism is, oh you did this; well you get a punishment! That is want the three Chinese philosophies are about! They all try to get at least one message through! First of all, confucianism wants you to treat others how you would want to be treated (The Golden Rule)! don’t do anything to others; if you do not want that same thing done to you! Confucius was a government official! During his life cicle he saw expanding disorders in the system! The state he lived in was invaded many times. The government had to change if they wanted peace and order! The qualities of truthfulness, Generosity, respect, diligence, industriousness and kindness were taught in Confucianism, which the Emperor were the qualities that the emperor looked for when he was looking for people for the goverment jobs.This helped people with the arguments people had! …show more content…

According to daoism everything is opposite (yin and yang)! Yin means shaded; yang means sunlit! They are opposites! The founder of doaism is Laotzi or Lao-tzu! He want a rule to pass on! The rule was, “if you don’t want your house robbed, do not fill it with jade or gold!” This means, if you do not want something done to you, don’t fire the first shot! Daoism is almost every bit alike to to confucianism! This is because it also gave marvelous answer to the government; it gave the answer to problems!
