True love, is a topic many of us are confused about, or have strong liking/disliking feelings towards it. What is true love? "Loving is an intimate, personal activity that seeks the welfare, happiness, and safety of another." Love, or the act of loving consists of "caring activities," such as "being loyal, consistent, candid, trustworthy, considerate, empathetic, tolerant, beneficent, and being there." Not only is true love, the only type of love, but so is "love at first sight," is it possible that you can fall in love the first time you see someone? I feel like falling in love with someone at first sight is impossible. How can you know if your love at first sight partner is loyal, or trustworthy, how would you know if they will be there for you? …show more content…

Many say that they were true love. For example, "Come. Come with me, and we'll get down to business. For, begging your pardons, you can't be left alone until you have been united in marriage by the Holy Church." Many would back up their opinions with this because marriage is a thing people tend to do with someone they really love, trust, and want to be together for eternity. In addition, others may use "Here's to my love!(He drinks the poison) Oh, honest apothecary! Your drugs are quick.(His head falls on Juliet's) With a kiss, I die," to prove that their love was true love. Moreover, just because they've gotten married, and killed themselves over each other, their love could have been "love at first sight;"
