He boasts five national titles overall (1985 and 1986 at Pacific) – which ranks as the second-most in NCAA Division I history – and was inducted into the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Hall of Fame in 2011. In 32 seasons as a head coach, Dunning’s teams never missed the postseason.
