To begin with, Romeo is all too eager to find love, and rushes to find a new pretty face. Immediately after laying eyes on Juliet, Romeo is transfixed and believes that it is true love. Later that night, he wishes to marry her, saying that he can have satisfaction with “The exchange of thy love’s faithful vow for mine” (II. 2. 127). Romeo knows nothing about Juliet, only that she is the most beautiful girl that he has ever seen. Even after his last relationship fails, Romeo does not learn.
Romeo sees what he thinks is Juliet lifless and cold. He professes his love for her and kisses her. Romeo says, "Come, bitter conduct, come, unsavory guide!/ Thou desperate pilot, now at once run on/ The dashing rocks thy seasick weary bark! Here's to my love (drinking)/ Oh true apothecary/
He is telling Juliet that she is so beautiful that she is bight and shines like a torch. When Romeo gets banned from Verona he says more light and light more dark and dark our woes. He is saying that Verona is his light and that he doesn’t know anything but the city Verona. So his dark will be where even he goes to live next. Another example of light is when Romeo says but soft what light through yonder window breaks?
This is the first time Romeo lays eyes on Juliet while at the feast, and it's love at first sight. He goes on about how beautiful she is and how she outshines any woman. “When this dance is over, I’ll see where she stands, and then I'll touch her hand with my rough and ugly ones.” -Romeo. This shows how love has compelled Romeo to go to Juliet.
Jo'Nelle has been feeling super happy for the past few days. Jo'Nelle's crush Ahmed had asked her out, and of course Jo'Nelle said yes. Jo'Nelle was delighted she was dating Ahmed; however Jo'Nelle was scared that her parents would find out. Jo'Nelle's parents have always told her that she can date when she is sixteen, they had also told her if she does decide to date when she is not of the age sixteen ther will be serious consequences. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is a Capulet.
Before he loved Juliet, he loved Rosaline although she did not love him back. Romeo says about Rosaline, “She hath forsworn to love, and in that vow / Do I live dead, that I live to tell it now” (I.i.231-232). When he sees Juliet for the first time, Romeo describes Juliet as, “As a rich jewel in an Ethiop’s ear- / Beauty too rich for use, for Earth too dear” (I.iv.53-54).
Romeo claimed to have fallen in love at first sight with Juliet, and forgot all about his love for the fair Rosaline in a number of minutes. After Romeo sees Juliet, Romeo says, “Her beauty is too good for this world; she's too beautiful to die and Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear.” Act I, Scene V- Lines 42-44. Romeo says this because he believes that she is so beautiful; that she should be forever young. Another example is when Romeo says, “Did my heart love till now?
Romeo is told she will be at a party the Capulets are hosting. He says “I’ll go along, no such sight to be shown, but to rejoice in splendor of mine own” (pg.11). Romeo knows the Capulets hate his family and is risking his life just to see the love Rosaline that doesn’t even love him back This is a really big risk that he is taking because it could cost him his own life and the life of whoever attacks him if he goes to this party. Once Romeo goes to this party he sees Juliet, and states “Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight, For I ne’er saw true beauty till this night” forgetting all about his love for Juliet and claiming that he will never fall in love with anyone else and that Rosaline was ‘the one’, later on in the party Romeo takes Juliet's hand and kisses her while saying “My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand to smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss”(pg.18).
Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet in year 1595. Disney made the animated film, Gnomeo and Juliet, in 2011. Gnomeo & Juliet is a computer-animated, comedic recreation of Shakespeares masterpiece. In sed movie, all of the human characters are replaced by lawn decorations. There are 3 major differences and 3 major similarities between the two.
There are many incidents that shows Juliet is more mature than Romeo. She is only 13 and he is between 15 and 17. She’s had more weight on her shoulders then he could ever imagine. She changed and became more mature when she decided to marry Romeo. She had to, because she was now a wife to her enemy, and couldn’t risk getting caught.
realizes this and proceeds to persuade Romeo once more by explaining that “I talk of dreams; which are the children of an idle brain, begot of nothing but vain fantasy” (I.IV.96-98). Ultimately, Mercutio convinces Romeo that dreams develop due to an idle brain that consists of nothing but unrealistic fantasies. At the Capulet’s feast that Mercutio forces Romeo to attend, Romeo’s love for Juliet interrupts his pining for Rosaline. At that moment in time, Romeo is downcast because of Rosaline’s failure to return his love, as a result, he rushes his feelings for Juliet. Since Mercutio brings Romeo to the Capulet’s feast, Romeo meets Juliet, which begins the journey until their deaths.
In WIlliam Shakespeare's play The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo express his emotions towards Juliet in Act I scene v as shown in the song You're beautiful by James Blunt. Before this scene Romeo's cousin Benvolio sees Romeo in the forest early in the morning crying. Later on Benvolio tries to find out why his cousin was so upset and finds out that he's in love with a women that doesn't love him back. In Act I scene v Romeo,Benvolio, and Mercutio are going to the capulet party to try and help Romeo forget about Rosaline. Little did Benvolio
The changes that I have made from the original story include the atmosphere and how the Capulets and Montagues interact. In my comic book, I have presented a couple of aspects of this like when Tybalt is sorrowful when he murders Mercutio. I decided to give less importance to certain characters like Lady Capulet, Lady Montague, Benvolio, and even Mercutio. For Mercutio, I had changed the original scene of when he speaks a curse that will rise upon the two houses to him only blaming Romeo.
The Reality of Romeo Romeo a kind, noble sir. Romeo is a character that is more realistic to today's audience. Romeo shows heroism and compassion all through the play. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, is supposed to be a tragedy it shows how love was won, but by hurt and sadness that was done. Romeo shows his love for Juliet in many special and heroic ways throughout the story.
In my U.S. History class, my teacher has an image of The Mona Lisa because there some history behind the picture. For example, who drew The Mona Lisa? Well, it was Leonardo da Vinci. Also, this portrait is one of the most famous portrait during the Renaissance. Back then wealthy people, like kings; nobles; etc., were able to afford the portrait, but now most people can afford it.
