Building your own computer has plenty of advantages, but while it may be a daunting task at first, once you understand a few of its key components, you will find that it is just like building a puzzle. I think the best way to think about a computer is to relate it to the human body. Just like us, every part is vital and serves their own role inside a computer. We will continue to use this human analogy to get a better understand of your computer as you are building it. The first computer part that you will begin to work with is the case. This is what houses your computer and keeps air flow moving throughout your build. I like to think of this as the skin of a human. Its how you present your computer to the world. Going along with our human analogy, this would considered be our eyes. Its function is to project what our computer is doing and put it onto the screen for us to see. In order to install, you must first locate the 16-Pin PCI-E slot on your motherboard. Align the graphics card with the slot and firmly push till you hear a click. You will notice that you can plug your monitor into the back of your card. Now all you have to do is plug it into your power supply by using the connector labeled GPU. The last component that you will have to install is the computer's hard drive. This acts exactly like our bodies long term memory as it stores all your information such as games, pictures, or documents. First thing you must do is mount your HDD into your case. All cases are different so refer to your manual in order to find its proper location. Once you have successfully mounted and screwed your HDD into place you can give it power. To do so, use a SATA cable to connect both the HDD and the motherboard together. You will use another SATA cable to connect your HDD to your power
