Concert Report

The concert I decided to write about was held in San Diego during the Gay Pride Parade on July 15, 2017. It was called the “Pride Music Festival” where patrons were able to enjoy multiple groups, of a similar genre, at a venue in beautiful and classic Balboa Park. Some of the performers were as follows: En Vogue, Salt n Peppa, Tinashe, Estelle, Cakes da Killa, Kodie Shane, Jessica 6 and Cazwell. Then, more recently, in March 2015 the group was named by Billboard Magazine as the all-time ninth most-successful girl group. The singles “Don’t Let Go (Love)” ranked #12 and “Hold On” came in at #23. Another American hip-hop rap group, Salt-N-Pepa (AKA Salt 'N' Pepa, Salt 'N Pepa) came together in 1985 in New York. Sandra Denton ("Pepa"), Cheryl James ("Salt") and Deidra Roper ("DJ Spinderella") who originally replaced Latoya Hanson in 1987 (AKA Latoya Pamela Greene). In 1995, the group won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. The were also one of the first all-female groups in that
