In the book Fahrenheit 415 by Ray Bradbury, the main character is a firefighter named Montag but not the firefighters you know. In Montag's time firemen burn books and don't put fires out because the government is trying to not let people think for themselves. Montag gets curious and tries to read one of the books he was supposed to burn and gets caught. He has to run away and he makes it out just in time and meets up with a group of people who think just like him. How will they overcome all of this conflict? People manage conflicts in different ways. In the book Fahrenheit 451 we see Mildred manage conflict in a lot of different ways. The first time we see a conflict with her she takes it out by overdosing and she is found dead by her husband Montag. The second conflict happens right afterwards in the hospital when Montag tries to explain what happened and she is in denial saying ”oh I wouldn’t do that”. A little while later in the book she has conflict because her husband is doing illegal things and she doesn't know what she should do about it. whether she should call the police or try to help him however she does end up calling the police and ratting him out to solve her inner conflict and leave her husband.
