Conformity versus Noncomformity

Non conformity is having the opposite opinion of the majoriy of society. That person is a strong leader, Susan B. Anthony. An abolitionist who is determined to do everything in her power to make equality.
In Anthony’s time in the 1800s, she realized how unequal the laws were against gender and race. Men would get payed almost two times as much salary as the women. According to Susan B. Anthony, “Men, their rights and nothing more; Women, their rights nothing less”. Black people wouldn’t be able to have education and would even end up homeless. She joined a women’s movement and also became an agent against African American Slavery. She gave lectures, attended meeting and even traveled long distnaces in order to vote. She has also called for equal educational oppertunities regardless of race.

Benjaminen is a conformist and goes with the flow of everything that is happening around him. He is one of the of the most wise animals on the farm, but has a bit of an issue with communication. Benjamin doesn’t express himself like the other animals and stays quiet most of the time. He doesn’t give his opinions nor shows his personaltiy. He even seemed unchanged even after the battle of the cowshed. Also he wouldn’t show his intersets or would side with any decision. He even realized how the seven commandments were changing bit-by-bit but never said a word about it.
There are some consquences in result of his actions. Since he would stay silent, no animal would be able to be aware of the change since they aren’t as smart. Things would probably have turned out differently if he would have spoke up about what he thinks. Instead changes continued to process on and on. Maybe the animals would have fought back Napoleon if they would have knew what was happening. In the end, most animals ended up murdered by the gaurd dogs and Napolien had gone
