The colour red has been noted in a varied of cultures through out the nations of mankind. There has been evidence recorded stating how the colour red represents the connection of life to blood – ( which is red)- and therefore the connotation of the meanings of the colour red appear to all be linked to lives that evolving humankind has lived. Source H is the link that proves the colour red as relating to love. The Catholic Priest, St Valentine, decided to marry couples that were sinners in the churches eyes. Due to his brave act against the church he became known for this. Many who had been classified as the dirty, were grateful toward St. Valentine.
