Consequences Of Quiting Football

In life we experience many tough decisions of what we “ought to do” or what we “want to do”. For me one of the hardest decisions i had to make was should I quit football or should I stick with football and possibly get a scholarship and go to college. I thought about it for a long time and I thought of the consequences I would have if I did quit or if I sticked with it.

Some of the consequences I would have if I quit would be I wouldn’t get a scholarship for it or even just a scholarship to go to college and all my friends and family would be mad at me and tell me I need to get back in football. I also would have hated myself for it because I love football and i’ve been playing for 11 years now and I would thrown all of my experience and the sport I love all away. …show more content…

I didn’t quit football and i’m glad I didn’t because I love football and if I did quit I would have thrown away all of my chances of going to college and playing football for a big college and now all I have to do is just make sure to keep my body healthy and make sure I keep myself out of trouble. The important lesson I learned was not to quit something you love because if you do then you will regret it the rest of your life and if you were to come back to that sport you probably wouldn’t get to play that much cause you wouldn’t be as strong or as conditioned as everybody
