A). Thomas Jefferson created the Declaration of Independence in 1776. It binds us together as a nation stating, “All men are created equal and possess the same inherent, natural right.” It turned out to be a dangerous document because this was a time of slavery and blacks were not treated the same. The 56 men that signed the document knew the penalty would be death if ever captured. Of the 56 men, many of their homes were ransacked; families killed and even captured in the end and killed. All the men knew the responsibility, which they were taking on but continued on with it in hope it would better their world to come. B).
