Receiving the Coolidge Scholarship will make a tremendous difference in my life. I've always wanted to go to a high ranking college since I was a kid. And since college fees has been on constant increase, it's more difficult to pay for college. It's not that I won't apply for the FAFSA and other kinds of loans; it's just that I don't want to live most of my youth life paying off college loans. According to an article by US news, "Student Loan Expectations: Myth vs. Reality," "the standard repayment plan for federal student loans puts borrowers on a 10-year track to pay off their debt, but research has shown the average bachelor's degree holder takes 21 years to pay off his or her loans. I don't want to be the person that will make young students give up on their dream of going to college. Attaining the Coolidge Scholarship will help me pay my way through college so that I won't have to struggle to pay loans after. I also have a dream. I want to be a successful woman married with four kids. I want to have my own happily ever after. Receiving the Coolidge Scholarship will play a massive role to make this dream of mine come true. I don't want to be that woman who depends on her husband for every little thing. I want to stand on my own as a successful independent woman who doesn't look up to anyone financially for help. Coolidge Scholarship might seem like a small deal right now; but later on in life, receivers of the Coolidge Scholarship will realize that it a monumental part of their life. They will perceive that this scholarship is the one that shaped their life to what it is today; A success in the midst of
