As far back as I can remember, I’ve wanted a challenge. I learned from an early age that character and integrity aren't easily obtained. They must be developed and earned over time by setting difficult goals and working diligently to reach them. When I first learned of the United States Air Force Academy in middle school I was immediately intrigued. My first thought was “Now that’s a challenge!” As I learned more and more, I became most impressed with what the core values of the United States Air Force affirm; “Integrity first. Service before self.
