William Shakespeare was a very influential writer during the time period of 1500's-1600's. Shakespeare published many great plays that people still read and act out today. He had a very different style of writing, he used 'blank verse' when he wrote his plays, a metrical pattern consisting of lines of unrhymed iambic pentameter. One of the plays this amazing writer publushed is a very well known play called Julius Caesar. In this tragedy there was a lot of betrayal and fear that was shown through out the play. I believe that shakespeare did a good job of showing what most people are like or how people respond in violent ways and also how their behavior is in such situations like the one that took place in this tragedy.
