Personally, I believe parenting will be a unique experience. Along with unique, parenting will be an eye-opening struggle. One day, I look forward to being a parent, but I do not plan on becoming one for a long time. For some, parenting is more difficult than others. For example, the Heck parents have a harder time than the Cosby parents. This is because the Heck children are more rambunctious than the Cosby children. Regardless, both sets of parents do a fine job of raising their children. In particular, The Middle is more realistic than The Cosby Show. The Middle portrays a typical, middle-class, American family with numerous problems. Truly, the Heck family lives a hectic life. On the other hand, the Cosby family resides in a calmer life. Mr. and Mrs. Cosby teach their children important life-lessons. Although, the Heck parents provide their children with advice. The Heck parents do so in a more realistic way than the Cosby's. For this reason, I would prefer to have the Heck couple as parents. I would prefer the Heck parents for the reason that their lifestyle is similar to my own. …show more content…

For example, in The Cosby show, the son did not desire to attend college. Mr. Cosby quickly changed his son’s mind by teaching him what would happen if he only had a “regular” job. Mr. Cosby did so by handing his son one thousand dollars of Monopoly money. This money rapidly disappeared as Mr. Cosby added expenses to his son’s budget. As a final result, Mr. Cosby taught his son the importance of managing money. Also, the Cosby family demonstrated discipline. Mr. and Mrs. Cosby sent their son, Theo, to his room for receiving poor grades. Lastly, the Cosby family is a well-bonded family.
