These can include being creative, customer- service skills, listening skills, physical stamina, tidiness, and being good with time management. Furthermore, to qualify for this occupation, one must be at least 16 to enroll, however some beauty schools require a GED or high school diploma. While there are many different paths one can choose from with this license the most common is to work for an experienced salon where training and gaining experience occurs.
